Plot synopsis
When a movie star comes to The Premiere for the premiere of her movie, "Kid President," Josh is chosen to act as her personal assistant. Josh is excited at first, as he is a big fan, but then realizes that it is not a fun job. Ashley is mean to everyone (even her own brother) and demands that Josh perform various tasks for her including getting her a soy latte, weighing her, obtaining a refrigerator (but she ended up claiming she wanted a sandwich), picking out thousands of green gummi bears from the rest, and giving her a foot massage to which she says to Josh "Make sure you get inbetween my toes.". Later, just before the premiere, she visits Drake and Josh's house to torment them some more. While she and Megan think up pranks to pull on the boys, Ashley gets knocked out with a bucket (Megan's fault, but the brothers are blamed for it). Choosing between dressing Megan up in a blonde wig and taking her to The Premiere in her unconscious state, Drake and Josh decide on the latter. They manage to get though most of the premiere, answering press questions for her and explaining that she can't talk because she got laryngitis from praying and singing to the elderly. The brothers then attend the post-premier party, where Drake mingles with the actresses and Josh gets autographs. Ashley, who is beginning to wake up, is left in a garbage can (no one seems to care, though).
Trivia - Yvette Nicole Brown plays the character of Helen Dubuois; however in this episode, the role was played by Frances Callier. This was because Yvette Nicole Brown was filming another show, The Big House, at the time and could not appear in Drake & Josh.
- Audrey and Walter do not appear in this episode.
- Megan explains that Ranch Dressing would spill out of a bucket in her prank but when the bucket falls on Ashley's head nothing pours out.
- Drake and Josh keep Ashley in a trash can during the entire movie and after party. If this was true, she probably would have suffocated.
- After this episode, no more episodes of Drake & Josh were aired until after the summer of 2004.
