Song Dynasty (宋朝, previous spelling Sung) (420 -479 ) was first of the four Southern Dynasties in China , followed by the Qi Dynasty . It was found by the Liu family.
Liu Song Dynasty to distinguish it from a later Song Dynasty (960 -1279 ) of China that is much more famous and significant.
