Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! is a VHS/Laserdisc home video released by the grunge band Nirvana on November 15, 1994. Kurt Cobain compiled much of the video himself, but did not complete it prior to his death. Surviving Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic worked with director Kevin Kerslake to complete the video, attempting to remain as close to Cobain's vision as possible. Most of the live footage is from 1991 and 1992. The latest footage is from January 23, 1993 at the Hollywood Rock Festival in Brazil. A message appears at the beginning of the film to say that due to the circumstances of Cobain's death it was never completed.

Highlights include:

  • A performance of "Lithium" at the Reading Festival in 1992.
  • A performance of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" from the UK show Top of the Pops where Cobain deliberately sang the song in a lower key. Under the established format of the show, the band was supposed to mime the studio version of the song while Kurt sang live. They opted not to comply.
  • A performance of "Love Buzz" where Cobain got into an altercation with a bouncer. Earlier in the show (not seen on the video), Kurt smashed the PA system at the club with his guitar, frustrated that it had consistently malfunctioned. (Viewers can see a pallet covering the PA, which was added in case Cobain decided to take a second shot.) Unbeknownst to Cobain, the PA belonged to a friend of the bouncer, who, when Kurt dove into the crowd, decided to exact some revenge. Kurt responded by hitting the bouncer in the head with his guitar, drawing blood.
