The EP itself is limited edition and quite rare. The recordings can be found on the first half of the Guns N' Roses album G N' R Lies. This article or section does not adequately cite its references or sources. ... G N R Lies is an album released by the hard rock band Guns N Roses in 1988. ...


Several replicas has been made of the EP, at least partly due to its high value. However, those who possess the G N' R Lies album can create their own copy version by reversing the album art, which when folded inside out contains the front and back covers of the Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP.


The tracks were actually studio recordings, with over-dubbed live audience sound. Allegedly, none of the available live tracks were good enough to release on disc. Lead singer, Axl Rose, was referring to this fact when he described the EP as "the most contrived piece of shit ever" in a magazine interview promoting Appetite for Destruction. The record pictured on this page is a fake, it has the dark cover. Buyers beware of may counterfiets and misrepresentations of this E.P. The original vinyl version is worth anywhere from $300-350, and the ironically the cassette version is much harder to find but valued at about half as much as the vinyl.
