A live user interface (LUI, pronounced Loo-ee) is a type of user interface which allows people to interact with a computer and computer-controlled devices, utilizing the power of human interaction.
With LUI a live customer service representative is able to navigate with the user through the interface, and show him images, maps and videoclips from within the website. He can also help the user to perform on-line purchases and complete complex forms with him. LUI concept is founded on the principle, which says that the best and most efficient user interface is based on a human interaction.
