Livonia Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Livonia, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. The center is located at the corner of 7 Mile Road and Middlebelt Road. The mall features over 50 stores and restaurants, as well as a three-screen movie theater. The mall opened October 29, 1964[3] with Sears, Kresge, and Crowley's as anchor stores.[1] A movie theater was added a year later, and Children's Palace was eventually added as well[1]. Kmart closed all of its Kresge operations in 1987 with the demise of the chain. A Mervyn's store was added in 1989. Crowley's was converted to Value City in March 2000. Mervyn's closed in 2006[4] and is currently vacant.
