Ljungby is a Municipality in Kronoberg County, in southern Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 1754.7 km². Of the total population of 27 078, 13 597 are male, and 13 481 are female. The population density of the community is 15 inhabitants per km².


John Lind, Governor of Minnesota (1899-1901), was born in Kånna Parish.
