The Mohist school of Chinese philosophy contained an approach to logic and argumentation that stresses analogical resoning over deductive reasoning, and is based on the three fa, or methods of drawing distinctions between kinds of things. Founded by Mo Zi (whose actual surname was Di, and whose given name was Mo), Mohism (墨家), or Moism, is a Chinese philosophy that evolved at the same time as Confucianism, Taoism and Legalism (Hundred Schools of Thought). ...
