The London Thames Gateway Development Corporation is an urban Development Corporation that has been charged with redevelopment in two areas in the Thames Gateway of Greater London - the Lower Lea Valley area in the boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Waltham Forest, and also the area on the north bank of the River Thames (the "London Riverside area") in the boroughs of Newham, Barking and Dagenham and Havering. The Riverside area is contiguous with the area covered by the Thurrock Development Corporation.
