Local Air Quality Management : This section is all about what Hillingdon Borough Council is doing to assess it's air quality, and the measures which have been and will be put in place to improve areas of poor air quality.
This year has seen the funding of free signs for the borough schools requesting drivers to turn off their engines whilst waiting outside the school plus the provision of information for inclusion in school lessons on improving air quality.
As Hillingdon is one of the boundary boroughs for the scheme, officers are in discussion with TfL with regard to signage.
