Longos (Greek: Λόγγος), older and uncommon form Loggos is a village located in the municipality of Sympoliteia in the northeastern part of the prefecture of Achaia in the Peloponnese. The village is connected about 1 km north of the old road of GR-8 linking Patras and Corinth along with Aigio while the superhighway is to the south. The nearest interchange for the GR-8A superhighway is south. It is located about 7 km W of Aigio, about 40 km NW of Pteri and about 35 km E of Patras. Longos is about 1 km east of the 22nd parallel or 22° east line. Forests are to the southwest and to the southeast and parts of Longos as well. Longos is famous for its beaches which cover much of its entire coastline to the north and its campgrounds including Longos Beach. There are about tens in the area including Akoli.
