Louise dropped her first name when she moved to New York and instead became known as simply Robey. She recorded an eponymous album, which yielded a semi-hit, a cover of Murray Head's song from the musical Chess called "One Night in Bangkok." She had small roles in The Money Pit and Raw Deal before landing the role she is best-known for, that of Micki Foster on the syndicated horror series Friday the 13th: The Series. The show, filmed in Canada, ran for three seasons. Robey played a young woman who inherited an antique shop from an estranged uncle. When it turns out the antiques in the shop are cursed by the devil, it is up to Robey, her cousin, and a family friend to hunt down these antiques before they can kill anyone else.
