An early demo of "Love Machine" was included on the Popjustice compilation album Popjustice: 100% Solid Pop Music; this version was sung by Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle and features radically different lyrics from the released versions, even excluding the phrase "Love Machine". Though Cheryl initially sets her eye on a musician at the club, the girls make their way to a table. However, they are soon distracted by the men in the Eskimo Club and the tricks they pull to try to get the girls' attention.


In a separate setting of a dark background and flashing lights, the girls begin to dance, and eventually they release their inhibitions and begin dancing in the Eskimo Club as well. At the end of the video the girls walk at of the club tired and barefoot.
