Lucrecia was once a Shin-Ra scientist working on the Jenova Project along with Gast and Hojo. Flashbacks imply that she was at one time romantically involved with Vincent Valentine, then a member of the Turks. However, she eventually rejected Vincent and entered a relationship with the insane Hojo. Lucrecia became pregnant, and Hojo used her (apparently with her consent) as an experiment subject, injecting her with Jenova cells. She subsequently gave birth to Sephiroth, but the child was taken away without Lucrecia even being allowed to hold him. Thereafter, due to the Jenova cells in her body Lucrecia was unable to truly die, and she - or her spirit - lingers on in the Crystal Cave.
Lucrecia's name is an apparent reference to mythical Roman figure Lucretia, who was famously raped by Sextus Tarquinius. It is a matter of some debate among fans whether this allusion is a hint that Lucrecia's relationship with Hojo was less consensual than it appeared, or is simply meant to emphasize the perverse nature of Sephiroth's conception.
Like being Home is her first EP released under the netlabel section of Series, in wich she works using more acoustic sounds, recording the sounds of everyday life objects and with a better vocal exploration, all mixed with the characteristical sound of her previous works: Soft voices and beautiful melodies.
Lucrecia has never humanized herself this way before, she is less indulgent and more personal.
Tienes un sonido magico que transporta, sigue creando tan buenas melodias junto a tu vos.
