Ludlow Ogden Smith a Philadelphia socialite married Katherine Hepburn in 1928. They were divorced in 1934. Afterwards Hepburn denied that she had even married Smith. He changed his name to Ogden Smith Ludlow so that Katherine Hepburn wouldn't have the plain name "Katherine Smith".
