Luduş (Hungarian: Marosludas, German: Ludasch) is a town in Romania, Mureş county, 44 km South-West from Tārgu Mureş.


History

  • 1377 - First mention in a document (the Ludus estate is transactioned between two Hungarians nobles).
  • 1930 - Ludus has 5,085 inhabitants.
  • 1960 - Ludus became town.
  • 1966 - Ludus has 11,794 inhabitants.
  • 2002 - Ludus has 18,667 inhabitants.
