Luitpold (1821 - 1912) was a German Bavarian administrator. He served as regent of Bavaria between 1886 and 1912 for his nephews, Louis II and Otto I, who were declared mad. He was the brother of Maximilian II of Bavaria, and father of Louis III.

Luitpold is also an old-fashioned form of the name Leopold and sometimes used within the context of the Margraves of Austria from the Babenberg dynasty.
