Luna 1958A (E-1 series) was the first Soviet spacecraft which was using for mission to the Moon. It was launched in 23rd september of 1958 and its mission was to crash to the Moon's surface and send the Soviet pennant- Vyimpel. And also during the flight in space, Luna 1958A had to release small cloud of sodium and create sodium comet which people could be seen from Earth. Unfortunately the launch of this spacecraft wasn't succesful. It had vibration and got many damages during the flight and exploded in 93rd second after launch and didn't even leave the Earth's atmosphere.
