Lunds kommun is a municipality in Skåne County in southernmost Sweden .
The town of Lund , with a population of 73,840, is the natural center of the municipality, but administrative reforms of the 1970s led to the incorporation of the towns of:
Södra Sandby, pop. 5,586 Dalby , pop. 5,469 Veberöd, pop. 3,569 Genarp, pop. 2,511 These towns are part of the South-Western Scania metropolitan area , chiefly serving as suburbs for Malmö and Lund.

The national park Dalby Söderskog is situated between Dalby and Lund.
