Lurline Baths - definition of Lurline Baths in Encyclopedia (128 words)
The Lurline Baths were public salt water baths built in the 1800s in San Francisco, California located at the corner of Bush and Larken streets.
Owned by the Olympic Salt Water Company, the baths also included a swimming pool and water slide.
The baths were imortalized by Thomas Edison on October 25, 1897 when he captured 30 seconds of film featuring scenes from the Lurline pool.
