Lyric the R'n'B girl group that were briefly signed to J Records from 2002 - 2003. Their debut album 'Episode' was due to be released late 2002 but was pushed back to 2003. However in 2003 the girls were offered a deal with liquor company Alize. Due to a clause in the contract they would have to leave their label to follow through with the deal. They decided to leave J Records in 2003 and started the Alize campaign with an advert in which their song 'Hot & Tipsy' was adapted for the campaign. However, it didn't work out and they were dropped as the faces of Alize. They tried to get their deal back but it didn't work and therefore the band split in 2004. This meant that their album 'Episode' was never released.
