They released a self titled album on Universal Records, not to be confused with the earlier KMFDM single of the same name. Sascha Konietzko, Tim Skold, and Lucia Cifarelli reformed KMFDM with several other artists, and have not released any other material as MDFMK, nor is it likely that they will in the future.
MDFMK's work contained elements of KMFDM's earlier industrial rock, but was also sounds heavily influenced by Skold, Tim Skold's solo release. It contains hints of trance and europop, primarily in the slick, smooth synthesizer and production.
Sascha disbanded KMFDM completely in 1999 and erected MDFMK in its place, which, despite the mirror image implied by the name, is a very different animal than KMFDM ever was yet it is still solidly identifiable as Sascha Konietzko.
MDFMK is definitely a cybertronic creation but the plaintive wail of the vocals betrays the project's human heart.
MDFMK is a trio with Sascha directing guitarist Tim Skold, the lone holdover from the latter day KMFDM, and the indescribably beautiful Lucia Cifarelli in a sonic sound play that is equal parts Techno and Metal and slightly louder than WWIII.
