It's called MacIrssi and is based on the terminal program irssi.
The code I use from irssi is basically unchanged so improvements to irssi should be quite easy to include in MacIrssi.
I only ever chat on IRC, and don't run any scripts or anything, so current lack of features doesn't bother me - it seems stable so far, and the UI is very clean.

kaktus: Well the channel tabs look bit weird and there is no GUI to handle DCC and completely configure MacIrssi, but this update nevertheless raises it to the top OSX irc clients.
