A three-judge Constitutional bench of the Supreme Court directed that a new Madras high court judge should hear the Tansi land case against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
Madras high court Justice Balasubramaniam was hearing the Tansi land case, before the Supreme Court stayed the proceedings last week.
The Supreme Court also directed the registrar of the Madras high court to give all documents of the Tansi case to the petitioner, K V Venkatapathy.
