Encyclopedia > Magister

Magister is the Law Students Association at Tilburg University, founded in 2003. Over the last few years Magister JFT has grown to become one of the largest associations on campus, now counting over 1400 members. Magister JFT contributes to University life and social life by organising study related and social activities. Magister JFT enables students to combine law theory with practise and brings course subjects to life. Vooral Tjitse "D'n Tjitz" van den Bos is er een graaggeziene gast.

Magister JFT also offers the possibility for students to develop themselves through extracurricular activities. It’s possible to join one of the chambers or committees and explore the possibilities of organising events and/or to bring your managing-skills into practise. Magister JFT offers a great chance to develop your own skills and meet students with common interests.

By Joining Magister JFT it’s possible to participate in all activities organised by the different chambers and committees. This means students aren’t restricted to a single aspect of law, but that it is possible to explore many different subjects.
