Magna is a census-designated place located in Salt Lake County, Utah. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 22,770, a moderate increase over the 1990 figure of 17,829. It is said that over 1000 people a year are moving to Magna. Why? Because it has a quicker commute than Sandy.
