The Species

The origins of the Magog are unknown. It is unknown if they started out from nature or an engineered species. They eat any sentient beings, and reproduce by laying their eggs in another living being. Their 'God' is Enigma, who also may be their creator. They are superior predators. Their bodies are built for hunting and paralyzing their prey. In Season 4, Harper builds a time machine that brings evolved Magog from the future. Including the great grandson of Rev Bem

  • They are about 6 feet tall and covered in fur
  • They are nasty and aggressive
  • They have heightened eye sight and sense of smell.
  • They have immense strength
  • They can spray a blinding toxin from their mouths.
  • They have claws on their hands

Feeding cycle

To eat they require to kill. They can't eat something that is already dead, it has to be killed by them. It is due to their genes. They can eat anything, but prefer sentient life. They are not above cannibalism either.

Reproduction

Their eating is closely related to their reproduction. During a hunt they spare a few to incubate their offspring. Their larvae would grow in the host bodies eating their way out. During the process, the larve absorbs some of the host's DNA so results of this vary much like Xenomorphs of the Alien movie series. They reproduce quickly and Magog population reaches the trillions.

Technology

The Magog are a savage race interested only in eating and reproducing, but have been able to be a spacefaring race. It is unknown where their technology came from. They could have stole what they needed from a local race to expand. Even if they did steal their technology, they are intelligent enough to learn how to operate it effectively. Currently they use gauss guns for personal weapons and possess powerful space craft.

Magog Swarm Ships

These are their fighter craft/carrier visions. They carry unnamed number of Magog. They tend to attach to a ship, cut through their hull and swarm the vessel. They then proceed to kill, eat the incubate the crew of the vessel. Armed with PSP (point singularity weapons) that fire mini-black holes, although the method for "firing" even a small black hole is unknown. This is a very efficient way of destroying a target.

Magog World ship

It is a superstructure made of planets surrounding a artificial sun. It is the size of a small solar system. It is armed with point singularity weapons, carries an unknown but massive number of smaller vessels, and is home to trillions of Magog. In the begining of Season 4, it was discovered the ship was built by an immortal cyborg named Kroton at the behest of the Enigma. At the end Season 4, it was thought to be destroyed . but it was later revealed that it was merely crippled in Season 5.

Enigma

Their leader or god is Enigma, also called the Spirit Of The Abyss. He appears to be a powerful but not omnipotent energy being. His powers are not clearly known. It has shown to be able to take over peoples body, and fire energy beams. It is possible that it is the creator of the Magog.
