Keith Richards reunited with the members of his self-titled band, The X-pensive Winos, to craft ten songs of lasting musical merit. At least for Richards fans, the record is a valuable and unique exploration into the guitarists’, singer and songwriters', psyche and musical influences. The rolling, muddy, mumbling, grumbling, sub terrain tracks prove that Richards does not cater to passing or current taste; rather, he follows his instinct and records whereever it leads him. 33⅓ LP vinyl record album The vinyl record is a type of gramophone record, most popular from the 1950s to the 1990s, that was most commonly used for mass-produced recordings of music. ...

Sessions
Richards did pre-production in early 1992 in New York City and Los Angeles. The songs were written before entering the studio and Richards sought to record the songs as faithfully to the rehearsed versions as possible. Reportedly he spent the last nine days of recording working, without sleep, under a tight deadline. Lyrically, the band was inspired from whatever sources came their way, for instance "Eileen" was the result of a recurrent wrong number at Richards Manhattan condo, the night the group was jamming. Someone kept calling for an 'Eileen' and it became the title of one of Richard's best solo songs. "999" is never completely explained in the lyrical collage of underground grunts and groans, which is similiar to "Tumbling Dice" in that way; however, '999' is the Emergency Operator extension in England, not '911' as in North America. "Wicked As It Seems" might simply refer to the sound of the song- a self-referential lyric for the clash of guitar, drums, voice, snares and sudden silence. A very distinctive video was made for this single, although it is rarely shown on television. The final track "Demon" offers a flipside to the macho lines, such as Get your money where your mouth is from "999", and leaves the listener wondering just how serious Richards is about letting us in, maybe you know. "Hate it When You Leave" is a soul song built around the back beat of "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted." 1992 is a leap year starting on Wednesday of the Gregorian calendar. ...
