Maizuru Port Promotion Association (379 words)
The Port of Maizuru aimed to adapt to such changes and continue growing as an international trading base in name and in practice, and to supplement and strengthen functions as a port in both infrastructure and services.
The Port of Maizuru is thus transforming from timber import center to a major container cargo port.
Amid the changing conditions, the Maizuru Port Promotion Association is collaborating with port industries for the greater development of the Port of Maizuru as the center of distribution for the Kansai economic region, on the Sea of Japan coast.
