Encyclopedia > Malmoe

Malmoe is an independent Austrian newspaper (in German language) targeting a young urban political group of readers. It was started when the extreme right-wing party FPÖ became a coalition partner in the Austrian Government and Malmoe in response established itself as modern, independent monthly newspaper covering topics like employment situations, music or the open-source movement.

It is available for free in bars and clubs all over Austria and most articles are available on the website.

Note that Malmoe has nothing to do with the Swedish industrial town Malmö.
