Mandatin dress is a traditional Manchurian dress by the Manchu. The distinct features of the dress include the tall collar and Mandarin buttons. After the Manchurians conquered China in 1644, the Manchurian court banned traditional Chinese dress and ordered all Chinese subjuects to change to Manchurian dress.
