Mangaldan is a municipality in the Philippines in the 4th district of the province of Pangasinan and the region of Ilocos. It is near the cities of Dagupan and Baguio. As of the 2000 census, it had 82,142 inhabitants in 15,356 households, and 30 barangays. It was founded by Dominican missionaries from Spain (the third such city in Pangasinan). It is known to have already been a Spanish encomienda by 1591. During World War II, Mangaldan had an airstrip used by the American military.
