Manjunath entered the film industry as a child actor. His performance in the TV series Malgudi Days (based on the book written by R.K. Narayan) was excellent. He is the same boy who acted in Stone Boy – another interesting and well known TV series. He acted in a couple of other series and movies. His performance in the movie Swathi Kiranam is brilliant. It was directed by Kasinadhuni Viswanath.
