A quest can be obtained on the way to the orange entrance that unites the Celebrian Rod and Diamond to form The Staff of Celebras, an item that can teleport players directly to the beginning of the central area, a common bug concerning the staff is that players often find themselves appearing at the top of the waterfall and fall to their deaths. Instance runs through only the inner section are often called "Princess runs", since the goal is usually Princess Theradras, who drops a number of extremely powerful items. Many players consider Princess Theradras to be the ugliest entity in the entire game. - Dungeon level: 40-51
- Suggested level: 47-54
- Orange: This part is filled with dryads, worms, and plant monsters of level 47-54. The final boss of this area is the corrupted water elemental Noxxion, who drops the Celebrian Rod.
- Purple: This part is filled with demons, satyrs, and treants of level 49-54. The final boss of this area is the satyr Lord Vyletongue, who drops the Celebrian Diamond.
- Inner Maraudon: Fights with stone giants, earth elementals, plant monsters, and reptilian beasts take place here. It includes the fight with Celebras, which leads to the creation of the Staff of Celebras, and the final boss Princess Theradras. Optional bosses include the stone giant Landslide, the giant crocodile Rotgrip, and the goblin Tinkerer Gizlock. This part is considered by many players as one of the most beautiful places throughout Azeroth. Rotgrip drops a pair of boots that will often see rogues through to 60 and Gizlock drops both a nicely animated shield of whirring cogs and gears, as well as a sword designed for mages and warlocks. Princess herself drops many caster themed rings and neckpieces.
