MargaretMacDonald is not the mother of the pre-tribulation rapture
Many critics of the rapture declare that MacDonald received her vision from demonic origins, and that she then passed on the message of that vision to infect the Church.
MacDonald looked for a "fiery trial which is to try us," and she foresaw the Church being purged by the Antichrist.
Margaret, who was born in Wolverhampton on 5th November 1864, was already an accomplished and versatile artist in watercolours, metalwork, embroidery and textiles, long before she met Mackintosh.
Margarets fathers career took the family to Glasgow in 1890 and along with her sister Frances, she soon registered as a student at the Glasgow School of Art.
Margaret also worked closely with her husband on designs for the House for an Art Lover, which, due to financial problems, was not built until the 1990s.
