Marguerite Moreau (born April 25, 1977) is an American actress who first came to fame in the US Television series Blossom in 1994 and 1995, playing Melanie. A string of movie bit-parts followed, until she got the part of Jessie in the 2002 film Queen of the Damned, based on the Anne Rice novels. She then starred as Charlie McGee in the TV movie Firestarter 2: Rekindled, followed by Runaway Jury in 2003, playing opposite Gene Hackman. She played Monica Young, a high school teacher having an affair with one of her students, on the ABC network series Life As We Know It in the 2004-2005 season. Moreau will next be seen in the title role in Firestarter: Rekindled opposite Dennis Hopper, an original mini-series sequel for the Sci-Fi Channel based on the Stephen King novel Firestarter.
