Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was "discovered" by legendary moviemaker Mack Sennett. She was also a capable dancer, a talent she exhibited in several films. She also appeared in eighteen western shorts opposite Bob Reeves, which was probably the highlight of her career. It is believed her first husband, a press agent, had a part in her selection as one of the WAMPAS Baby Stars in 1922.
