Marissa Ribisi is the twin sister of actor Giovanni Ribisi. She is also an actress, although she does not have as much visibility as her more famous brother. One of her better-known roles was as red-headed Cynthia Dunn in the cult-favorite Dazed and Confused (film). She married musician Beck in April 2004, shortly before giving birth to their son, Cosimo Henri. Interestingly enough, according to Lermanet's guide to Beck and Scientology [1], Marissa and her brother were both delivered by Bibbe Hansen, Beck's mother. She is a Scientologist. Ribisi was born to Gay Landrum and musician Albert Ribisi (an Italian American).
Ribisi was married to Mariah O'Brien from 18 March 1997 through 3 November 2001; the couple had a daughter, Lucia, born in December 1997 and named after the doomed heroine in the Donizetti opera, Lucia di Lammermoor.
