Mary Joe Fernández (born August 19, 1971) is a former Dominican Republic-born American professional tennis player.


Fernández reached three grand slam finals during her career: the Australian Open in 1990 (lost to Steffi Graf) and 1992 (lost to Monica Seles), and the French Open in 1993 (lost to Steffi Graf).


She is currently a tennis commentator at ESPN.
