Mary Lilian Baels (November 28, 1916 – June 7, 2002) was best known as Princess de Réthy, the controversial morganatic second wife of King Léopold III of the Belgians.
Mary Lilian Lucy Josepha Monique Baels was born in Highbury, London, England, one of eight children of Henri Baels, an attorney and fish trader from Ostend, Belgium, and his wife Anne Marie de Visscher, who were living in England during World War I.
On September 11, 1941, Lilian Baels reportedly married the king in a religious ceremony.

Mary Lilian Henriette Lucie Josephine Ghislaine Baels, prinses van België (28 november 1916 – 7 juni 2002) was de tweede echtgenote van de Belgische koning Leopold III, ze kreeg de titel prinses van Retie.
Lilian werd op 28 november 1916 geboren in Londen, waar haar ouders naartoe waren gevlucht.
Leopold bleef uiteindelijk vijf jaar in het Zwitserse Prégny.
