Megalomania is a state of mental illness often characterised by delusional fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence. It includes an obsession with grandiose or extravagant things or actions.


Merriam Websters defines megalomania as :

  1.  : a mania for great or grandiose performance.
  2.  : a delusional mental disorder that is marked by infantile feelings of personal omnipotence and grandeur.
