In 1991, Dr. Mehran finished his General Surgery residency training at McGill Hospital and training in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery was completed in 1995 at University of Montreal.
Mehran is a diplomat of the American Board of surgery and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada both in General and Thoracic Surgery.
