It is the worlds only southern ocean aquarium [citation needed] and you can see animals here you will not find anywhere else.[citation needed] It is known for its shark exhibit, featuring huge Grey Nurse and Broadnose sevengill sharks in the worlds largest fishbowl and the many diverse species it contains. There are also temporary exhibitions that frequently come to the aquarium. On Sunday 11th November Melbourne Aquarium celebrated Georgie the Grey nurse shark's 10th birthday with a celebratory party. A new entrance will be built on the corner of Flinders and King street. The new expansion will feature an exhibit staring Antarctic King penguins and Gentoo Penguins, as well as many other Antarctic fish, a fist for Australia. The exhibits will feature real ice and snow to simulate Antarctic conditions, and will take visitors on an expedition to Antarctica.
