Melora Pazlar is a female Elaysian, a species from a plant where gravity is weaker than on most other planets.
Melora Pazlar first appeared in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Melora", in which she came to the station prior to a mapping mission to the Gamma Quadrant.
