Upon arrival, the Doctor discovers that Romulans have taken over the ship. They test a new multi-vectored assault mode (in which the ship splits into three pieces) and damage a Nebula Class Federation ship. The ship's systems are all locked down requiring security clearance for everything except the ship's own medical hologram. The Romulans, a fictional race in the Star Trek universe, are descended from Vulcans and are characterized as being deceitful, cunning, and treacherous. ... A Romulan brings in an injured crew mate and demands the Doctor fix him before leaving.


The Doctor activates the ship's EMH (Andy Dick). The ship's EMH then tries to deactivate himself and wait for a Federation rescue. The Doctor convinces him none is coming and that they have to take back the ship themselves. Andy Dick (born 21 December 1965) is an American television and film actor. ...


The Doctor pretends the injured Romulan was infected and that the infection may have spread to the others, and he begins scanning the bridge crew. But a Romulan notices that the Doctor wasn't scanning the Romulans at all and they interogate him, just as the ship's EMH floods the ship with a tranquilizing gas. The ship is now theirs, but they have reached the rendezvous coordinates and Romulan ships have come to take the Prometheus. But then the Federation ships arrive to do battle. The ship's EMH fires a torpedo that slowly flies out and hits a Federation ship. They decide to play with multi-vectored assault mode and target the Romulans, emerging victorious.


The Doctor informs Starfleet of Voyager's status and goes home, telling the crew they are no longer alone.

Prometheus class starship - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (595 words)
Thus far, the only known ship of this type is the USS Prometheus (NX-59650), which appeared in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager entitled "Message in a Bottle".
Another of this class was seen in Voyager's finale, "Endgame", but the ships' name has not been determined.
In standard configuration, a ship of this class is composed of an arrowhead-shaped primary hull attached directly to a short, small secondary hull supporting four warp nacelles on short pylons in an 'X' configuration.

I know, everyone was in a struggle to survive and it would not have helped anything to be at each other's throats but for the sake of realism, it would have added to the danger of their predicament, therefore it would have served well as a dramatic element but alas...
The best Voyager episode for my money was "Someone to Watch Over Me." Being in the Audio/Video production business, I found that not only was the storyline one of the most compelling but the camera shots and angles were some of the best that I have even seen on that series.
I loved Seska and I liked the one where Voyager's crew are deserted on a planet by her and the Kazon.
