Powells.com Interviews - Helen Fielding (1728 words)
And, hey, Fielding's narrator works for a publishing company so there's lots of talk about books in Bridget Jones's Diary, and she borrowed the plot from Jane Austen (no word yet on when she'll be giving it back), so there's your highbrow literary connection right there.

Fielding: Well, sometimes I write travelogues for Conde Nast, and I wrote a piece for the Telegraph about the tour, which was me instead of Bridget.
Noel Fielding - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (217 words)
Noel Fielding (born May 21, 1973 (May 21 disputed)) is a British comedian and actor, best known for playing Vince Noir opposite Julian Barratt (Howard Moon) and brother Michael Fielding (Naboo) in the cult comedy series The Mighty Boosh.
Fielding attended Croydon Art College, and is a skilled visual artist (responsible for much of Boosh's distinctive sets and characters).
The name of the series itself is said to derive from a haircut Michael Fielding once sported, referred to as "The Mighty Boosh" by friends.
