Jonas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (225 words)
Jonas (Иона in Russian) (died 1461?), was the Metropolitan bishop of Moscow, commencing 1448.
However, before Jonas arrived the Patriarch of Constantinople had already chosen Isidore the Apostate to become the Metropolitan of Russia.
After Isidore had been condemned by the Russian Orthodox Church in 1441, for his support of Catholicism and the re-uniting of the Eastern and Western Churches, Vasili II confirmed Jonas' nomination for the metropolitan post, however, continuing internecine wars were to blame for the delay of his appointment.

Michael Jonas reports to his Kazon contact about the incident, and then requests to speak to Seska directly, a request which is flatly denied.
Jonas is contacted by Seska directly, and she confirms the orders that the other Kazon had given him, but also gave him instructions about how to damage Voyager's warp coils by forcing super-hot plasma through the nacelles.
During a staff meeting, B'Elanna Torres is contacted by Michael Jonas in Engineering, concerning a plasma overload in the warp core.
