Mickey Finn is a slang term for a drug-laced drink, given to someone without their knowledge in order to incapacitate them. Specifically, a Mickey Finn is a solution of chloral hydrate in alcohol. It is named for a mafia-tied bar tender in a Chicago speak-easy in the 1920s. Mickey would slip his unsuspecting patrons a drug in their drink to make them pass out and proceed to rob them blind.
