Miguel Jesús Cairo ˈkaiɾo (born May 4, 1974 in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball utility infielder for the St. Louis Cardinals. Miguel Jesús Cairo [KI-roh] (born May 4, 1974 in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball second baseman who plays for the New York Yankees.
As a fielder, Cairo can adequately play shortstop, third base and first base, but his best position is second, where he has good range and turns the double play very well.

at December 28, 2005 01:19 AM I know Cairo is not a good fit from a sabr point of view but sometimes you just have to have guys you can root for and this is the perfect example, he is not a starter and thus shouldn't technically have too big of an impact.
