Mikael Salomon (b. February 24, 1945) is a Danish director and cinematographer from Copenhagen, Denmark.[1] Some of the films he acted as cinematographer on include The Abyss, Always, Arachnophobia, Backdraft and Far and Away. He has also directed several films including A Far Off Place, Hard Rain, Aftershock: Earthquake in New York and Sole Survivor.
